Section 82
Public Service Commission should be consulted
In the course of departmental punishment proceedings, if the clarification given by the concerned employee in accordance with section 80 or the explanation given in accordance with section 81 is not satisfactory and it is found that such employee should be punished, the officer authorized to order departmental punishment shall propose the punishment to be given to that employee and consult the Public Service Commission.
